Tiger Brennan Drive

This project involves the provision of additional lanes along Tiger Brennan Drive between Woolner Road and Dinah Beach Road and associated landscaping and road furniture. Kirsty was the Senior Project Management responsible for day-to-day management of the project for the Civil Construction Division as to ensure the project was completed on time, to a high quality and to budget. This included Project Management of the environmental assessment, existing  infrastructure review, gap analysis, detailed design, design risk management, construction risk identification, consultant management, development and implementation of the Communication Plan, financial management, attaining additional funding to progress the works to construction and liaising with the client to ensure the most suitable solution is implemented.

Throughout the project the project team worked successfully with the following Authorities for design input and approvals: DCI's Safety Team, Road Network Division, Department of Lands and Planning, Telstra, Power and Water Corporation NT Historical Society, Larrakia Development Corporation, DCI's Road team, DCI's Engineering team, NRETAS and Department of Health and Families.

Key Project Achievements:

• Project completed on time, to budget and a high quality standard.
   
• Infrastructure issues were dealt with using Group risk assessment to determine the extent of risk and priorities infrastructure modifications with DPI and PWC.
   
• Environmental review undertaken in collaboration NT Environment Department to ensure timely approvals and effective management of acid sulphate soils.
